Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
try this
click in a cell (A16 of tab a)
type =
click on other tab
click in a cell (A1 of tab b)
ENTER
the contents of A1 on tab b will be in A16 of tab a
and you can see the syntax: how to write the formula

would this give you a start ?
