COMBO BOX AND DATES

Ok, I have a combo box with a list of months, January 06, February 06 etc...

I want a user to be able to select one of the months, and the first date of that month be displayed in cell A9 in mm/dd/yy format.

Is the combobox located in a custom userform ? or is located directly on the sheet ?
