combo box - data entry restriction?

I have a user form filled with data items. However, it is still possible for the user to enter their own data into these boxes.
How do i restrict entry here to just those items that I have set in the drop down list?

What kind or "boxes" are you using?
A ListBox will only allow you to pick from the list you assign using the "RowSource" Property.

I'm using combo boxes.
How does a list box vary from a combo box?

The ListBox does just what you are asking. It does not allow data entry, only list selection.
