Combo Box Distortion

Hello all,

I am using a form control combo box to appear on my sheet at all times. (rather than a pulldown when a user clicks in the cell)

It works great but whenever I go to print preview and return it is distroted and moves to a different place in the document. I have disabled all moving and scaling options but it still does this...is there any way to fix it or should I use a different kind of control?

Have you tried protecting the sheet?

Doesn't fix the problem, any time you go to print preview (control+p) and print or cancel it distorts the shape of the combo box (makes it fuzzy looking) and when you click on it it appears as a smaller box above and to the left of the original location with the original fuzzy big box still appearing.

BTW, I am using Excel 2010.

I can't replicate the problem. Using Excel 2007 but I found this link Controls move to the left of the worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2002


I know its about Excel 2002 but the solution might help???

I'm sorry my work version is 2007, my home version is 2010. I cannot select move or size with cells, it is grayed out as an option.

Have you tried using an ActiveX combo box? You should be able to set the Top and Left properties to keep the combo box from moving.
