combobox change event

I have a combobox that is filled by adding items from a recordset object. I'd like to have a label associated with this combobox so that whenever I select a value in the combo box the label shows the listindex value of the selected item in the combo box. I have this all set up but for some reason when I select an item in the combobox it doesn't trigger the change event. Is there a reason this is happening? Do I need to set some property? The help says the event is triggered whenever the text property changes but it doesn't seem to be working.

Howdy Dave, this should be accurate. You need your change event to have the same name as the combobox itself, recheck the properties. E.g., combobox1 should look like:

Also, it needs to be in the the correct worksheet module if you've buried the control in a worksheet. In design mode, right click on the control and select view code to be shot into the appropriate module.
