COMBOBOX: Invalid Property Value Error

My userform has a combobox that I have populated as follows:

Sub fillCombobox()
    
    Dim i As Integer
    Dim cbItem As String
        
    For i = 1 To 3
        Select Case i
            Case 1
                cbItem = "1500"
            Case 2
                cbItem = "2500"
            Case 3
                cbItem = "3500"
        End Select
        cboPlantfr.AddItem cbItem
    Next
 
End Sub

I would like the user to be able to either choose one of these three options or type something else in. However, when a value other than the choices is entered, there is an invalid property value error.

I used a combobox because I thought it enables entering a different value vs. a listbox, which doesn't... Can anyone help?

I've seen posts about preventing this, but nothing about how to allow it.

What's the setting of the ComboBox's MatchRequired property? It should be False.

MatchRequired is set to False.

Seems to have been a bug... it's working now!
