Hello,
Can anyone suggest a ComboBox I can place in a cell whose dropdown arrow only appears when the cell is selected. I'm a VBA newbie.
Thx

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

You can't use this with VBA, because it will always show (well maybe if you make it the size of the cell, then invisible + a MouseOver, but that's a lot of work).

I'd suggest taking a look at Data Validation (Data -> Data validation).

Thanks Dafan, but I've seen an example of what I'm looking for, but I can't figure out how to replicate it.
Thx for the thoughts tho
