comma function

Hi,

I need a formula that will return the first letter after a comma.

E.g. if I had

Shoosmith,Mark

I would like to have a formual that would return "M"

=MID(A1,FIND(",",A1&",")+1,1)

 

[VoG]

Try

=MID(A1,FIND(",",A1)+1,1)
