Command Box To Search For a Whole Month in a list of Dates

I need A box(Text, Drop down menu) to come up where it will ask the user to enter a Month then have it search for that month in a list of Dates and then Select and copy those dates in that month and then paste it in another Workbook.

any help or suggestion for me to look into would be greatly appreciated

Could start by making a new column "Month" with formula like =MONTH(A1).
The use Data/Filter/Autofilter or Data/Filter/Advanced filter that can copy data elsewhere.
