Does anyone know how to make a command button (from the control toolbox in Excel) completely transparent. I need a command button that has absolutely no formatting whatsoever, including the borders / outline of the command button.

Any help is appreciated.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

Good question Mark. I can clear everything except the line shadow. Perhaps one of the gurus could advise on that.

Could you use a label instead? You can make it completely transparent, including borders/shadows. It also has the usual events if you needed to run a macro.

I could use a label if only I could centre the text within it vertically (but I can't). Any ideas ?

There is a TextAlign Property but only for centering the text horizontally. Does the label need to be a specific size? I was thinking maybe combine alignment and size - would that work?
Code:
With Label1
    .TextAlign = fmTextAlignCenter
    .AutoSize = True
End With
