Is there any way that I can code a command button so that when clicked a word document opens and text appears in the word document??
Thank You

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Dim wordApp As Object
Dim fNameAndPath As String
fNameAndPath = "c:\MyDoc.doc"
Set wordApp = CreateObject("Word.Application")
wordApp.Documents.Open (fNameAndPath)
wordApp.Visible = True
End Sub

So I got the excel sheet to write text in a word document, but how would I program another command button to add text to the same word document without creating a new word document?

post the code you used for the first button, you should be able to use the same button to add all the stuff you wont.
