Does anyone know if you can create a command button on a sheet with an Up arrow or Down arrow symbol?

Excel Facts

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
use shapes, or edit text on button and copy-paste these:

  1. ↑ Up arrow
  2. ↓ Down arrow
  3. → Right arro
  4. ← Left arrow

When you say shapes, do you mean a label?

OK I understand.

When I create a command button and paste an arrow, it becomes a ? when I deselect. However when I press the button then the arrow appears.

When I select a rectangular shape, I don't know how to insert the arrow?

I ended up using the Spin Button. Pasting it onto Paint and splitting the two sections and pasting it back to Excel.
