Commanding a cell to multiply itself with a number

I have a column with ratios, which I want to turn into percent, i.e. I want to multiply ever cell with 100. Is there an easier way to do this than to create a new column?

Type 100 into an empty cell and copy it. Select your range of cells, Edit > Paste Special, tick Multiply and click OK.

Format the column as percent ?

Put 100 in a spare cell, copy it. Then select the entire range, rightclick -> Paste special -> Multiply.

Fastest way imo.
