Comments cell that datestamps all comments in another cell

Hi

Is it possible to have a cell (say in Row K) that a user updates what they have done, and then in Column L it takes those comments and datestamps it with the comments, but retains all previous comments (Cell K getting over written) - Basically an audit log style update I need if that makes sense!

So, Steve has put the first comment regarding this piece of work in row K, and in column L it picks this up, and datestamps it, and the comment appears next to it.

Steve then overwrites the comments in column K and presses enter. (This then needs to update Column L with the new comments, whilst retaining the old comments)
