So i am trying to compare two columns containing text - one is derived from another worksheet using vlookup and the other is a copy and text from word document. how do i remove any extra spaces and formatting issues like alignment from the cell containing from the vlookup function to compare the text to the other column with word doc. is there a formula along with TRIM i can use to remove excessive spaces, etc?
