I have a formula which matches columns A, B & C from 2 worksheets in separate workbooks and if they match, inputs the contents of column D, which is where I have the code. It works really well, but I have a need now to actually compare the column in 2 sheets in separate workbooks.

=IFERROR(INDEX('/Users/SOS/Documents/My Documents/Horse/[August.xlsx]Sheet1'!$D$2:$D$50000,MATCH(1,INDEX((A2='/Users/SOS/Documents/My Documents/Horse/[August.xlsx]Sheet1'!$A$2:$A$50000)*(B2='/Users/SOS/Documents/My Documents/Horse/[August.xlsx]Sheet1'!$B$2:$B$50000)*(C2='/Users/SOS/Documents/My Documents/Horse/[August.xlsx]Sheet1'!$C$2:$C$50000),0,1),0)),"No")

Is there a way to amend this code to have it function to COMPARE column D instead of simply inputting its contents? So if A, B & C match, do the contents of D match...TRUE/FALSE or YES/NO

cheers
