I have a spreadsheet with over 2000 ID's in column A and only eight ID's in column G. I would like to compare the ID's in column G to ID's in column A and copy the matching ID's and their data to a new sheet.
Take a look at using the VLOOKUP function in Excel's built-in Help files.
This allows you to look up values from one range to another. For any that did not match, it will return an error.
VLOOKUP Worked well enough to get to where I was going...still had a small amount of effort to get to where I was going after that...but it worked and I thank you.
