Hello,

I'd like to compare Column I with Column J, and in Column K, return the value of the greater column.

For example, in Column I, there are dollar amounts, and in Column J, there are also dollar amounts. I'd like Column K to show the greater of the two dollar amounts.

The only catch is, if Column I has a dollar value, there won't be any dollar value shown in Column J, Column J would be zero (and the same going the other way. If J was a dollar amount, then "I" will not.

Thanks in advance for any help you may have to offer.

Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Hello beadgirlsa,

You can use the Large function to return the highest dollar amount in the 2 columns.

Cell K1 Formula: =LARGE("I1:J100", 1)

Just solved it, using IF AND

=IF(AND(PromantekNET>RenewalLicTOTAL),PromantekNET,RenewalLicTOTAL)

the words are named ranges.

Just getting used to syntax around here!
