Hi,

I need a help to solve a problem. It seems easy but it seems its really hard.

Let me explain little bit first.

I have two tables in an excel sheet.

Table 1 is Order table where orders are placed.

For example in give order table Order 1 has 4 different kinds of shirt with total 6 shirt and so on.

Similarly table 2 is invoice table which represent the invoice for previous order. It is similar to Order Table.

Now my problem is Invoice Table might be different because of following reasons,

1. Item Unavailability
2. Wrong item in order
3. More item in order and so on.

Now what I want to do is compare those two tables and see differences.

Now if you look at table there are **** in some cells, which means those rows are different in some ways compare to other table.

Can some one help me to indicate the different rows, may be by highlighting or adding new color or so on.

I shall be highly grateful.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

I don't understand what you mean but let me simplify little bit more.

There are 2 tables as shown above.

Each table has many rows and most of the rows are similar, but there might be some rows which are different.

In order table rows which have **** are different as they are not in invoice table and vice versa with invoice table.

So I just want to highlight those rows in each table which are not in both table.

Or create new table in same sheet which will have rows those are not in both table.

I hope you understand what I mean.

And thanks for your response.
