Comparing columns and deleting duplicates

I have a unique problem, perhaps I can get some guidance here. I searched briefly and did not find a similar question.

I have a list of values (thousands of records). I have another list of values that is smaller than list 1, but has all values that list 1 would have. What I'd like to do is compare the two lists and delete duplicates that exist, leaving only the non-duplicate numbers. Here's an example to show what I'm saying, since I know there's a 'delete duplicates' function in Excel, but it's not what I need. Each number is in its own cell.

Column A: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Column B: 1, 2, 3

So what I'd like is, perhaps in a 3rd column, put the results of the comparison, in this case will be:

Column C: 4, 5, 6

Thanks for any help you can give!

P.S. I'm on a Mac OS X with the Mac version of Excel.
