I have two rather large lists that need to be compared.

List #1 is a previous version of list #2

List number #1 may contain names that are no longer on list #2. I need some help creating a formula that detects the differences of list #2 from list #1 and either highlights the none matching names or removes them from list #1.

Any help is greatly appreciated. We can compare using a variety of identifiers CUSTOMER #, NAME, ADDRESS, Etc. not sure which one would be easiest.

Im not sure where to even start at the moment.

Thanks,
-Will

Julian,

Your right, but how would I go about highlighting differences in a specific sheet? My Lists are rather large and are constantly adding and removing entries. My issue is that I cant simply remove entries without throwing of a variety of other formulas and exceptions. Id be happy to upload both lists with (sensitive data removed) and maybe you can play around with it... Time is on my side I don't need to have this working until the 21st of November.

I sure can take a look.

And you just want to highlight the unique rows that are not contained in both sheets or do you actually want to do anything to it?
Is it possible to add a column to the data or does the layout not allow that?
