I have two worksheets and need to compare one column in each worksheet. the two worksheets may contain other columns of various information related to account number. Example, the two columns may be account numbers, I need to compare both columns and any matches between the columns need to either create a new list of accounts that matched or is there a better or easier solution. Main objective to find matches between columns.

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Hi Longhorn:

Welcome to MrExcel Board!

Need more details about how is the match to be made -- meaning criteria for matching. Would there be a row by row match? could the number to be matched in one particular row of a worksheet be matched with the same number in any row of the column in the other worksheet.

So please provide a little background on what you are working with and what you are trying to accomplish -- and then let us take it fom there.

Welcome to the Board!

Yogi's comments notwithstanding, try posting representative shots of your sheets using Colo's HTML Maker, the link to which can be found at the bottom of the page.
