I get the following error while using the solver command


Compile error:
Can't find project or library

Any help!!!!!

You need to set a reference to SOLVER (Tools|References in the Visual Basic Editor). If you can't see it in the list activate your worksheet, choose Tools|Solver and click Close.

Hey andrew
I did what u said and i got a solver.xla in my projects window but now i get some other err msg saying
" sub or function not defined"

No, in the VBE click your workbook in the Projects window. Then choose Tools|References, check SOLVER and click OK.
