Complex Combination Charts

I am try to create a complex combination chart based on data generated from multiple pivot tables. My preference is to create these in excel but if other software would be better suited please advise.

Basically I have 10 data series over 2 Y axis. 5 of the series are simple line charts no problems. However of the first 5 series I would like the following

Series 1 - Bar (No fill)
Series 2 - Bar fill colour overlapped to sit below series one
Series 3 and 4 - Stacked Bar
Series 5 Bar

Effectively it looks a three bar chart.

The only why I have been able to do it to date is to have two charts one over top of the other, with the top one transparent, but doesn't seem all that logical (or easy).

Any guidance greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
can you give us a little more detail about the data you're plotting in each series.

Desired Chart

Y1 Axis: Budget, Deliveries, Commitments, Forecasts, Forwards in Place.
Y2 Axis: All "Rate" Series

Y2 Axis Rate series to be presented as Line charts (Done)
Y1 Axis is the problem; I want it to look like 3 bar charts side by side as follows:

DS1: Budget : Bar with no Fill
Deliveries: Bar filled sitting 100% behind Budget

DS2: Commitments and Forecasts: Stacked Bar

DS3: Forwards in Place: Normal Bar

So your usual Bar & Line Combination chart won't do. I actually want a Bar/StackedBar & Line Combination
