Hello MrExcel,

(please excuse me if my English isn't always perfect ;) )

I have the following problem: I want to make a formula that looks in one tab page at a range of dates. For example, in tab 1 you'll find in cell A1 '5/6/2011', and in tab B1 you'll find '10/6/2011'. Then I want to make 12 tab pages, each with the name of a month and 31 colloms with a date. I want my formula to indicate a 1 on every date in the june tab between 5 and 10 june. If the dates would be 5/5/2011 en 10/7/2011 I want my formula to indicate a 1 on every date between those two dates.

Do you understand my question and can you help me please? I'm sure that MrExcel.com is the right place to get answers to these questions!

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Welcome to the board.

I don't think that's possible with a formula. You can't instruct a formula to create a new tab for example.

No the 12 'month tabs' will already be created. In all of the cells in them you'll probably have to put the formula.
