I am consulting for a publishing company that is trying to generate more in-depth numbers using excel. They use a CRM that can generate most reports, however they need calculations done on a term they refer to as "contract sales" which their CRM does not calculate due to the complicated nature of their sales cycles. They then upload this number into their CRM and it generates the reports for various KPI's. The term contract goals refers to the staggering nature of their contracts. They want all contracts completed by the date of the event, and these contracts originate in different months with different sales cycles. The owner provided me with a sales cycle table that breaks down various sales schedules based on the number of months in the sales cycle. I created a sales cycle table; I am hoping to use this table to calculate each contracts monthly goals based on the number of months in their sales cycle. Ultimately, I would like to tell my macro or VBA to use the sales cycle table in order to generate a monthly sales goal for each sales person in real time. Please help me, I am no excel expert, and any and all help would be appreciated. I know this will be a complicated Macro, I just need to know if this is feasible and how someone with much more knowledge would proceed. If this is not near enough information, please let me know and I will provide more information, even pictures of the document if needed. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Hi Andrew,
some pictures would indeed be appreciated, as I have a hard time visualizing what data you have and what you are trying to achieve. An alternative is an excel sheet with some semi-realistic mockup data on e.g. a dropbox.
Thanks for some more info,
Koen
