If before 6:00AM or after 6:00PM then they get differential pay

A1 Time In 5:30 AM
B1 Time Out 1:30 PM
D1 Should have .5 Shift Differential

A2 Time in 5:30 PM
B2 Time out 1:30 AM
D2 Should have 7.5 Shift Differential

TEXT(IF(B16 <> "",IF(B16<G$3,G$3+B16,0),0),"hh:mm")*24

The first if statement is cosmetic, the second gives me 11.5 for the first example

I have not yet figured out how to combine the AM and PM together yet into on function.

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
I figured out why I was getting 11.5 instead of .5. I was adding and not subtracting. However, I would very much like to combine this into one function if possible.
