Concat Rows Dynamically

I have a workbook that has student's names and I want to generate a list of these names if A1 = "apples" and b1 = "Oranges". Can I concat a range of rows? I can find if A1 = "apples and b1 = "oranges" and get the number of rows I will need to concat but can I dynamically call cell references into a concat?

Is there any reason why this wouldn't work in excel 2007? It brings up the function but does nothing with it. I was even using the examples given on the page to just display B1:B5. All that remains in the cell is =StringConcat("|",B1:B5)

The likely reason for that is that the cell is formatted as Text before you enter the formula. Format the cell as General, then enter the formula.
