Hello,
I am combining two columns, one has text, the other a date. However, the date is not showing in the same format as the original column.

Date in formula bar reads as "2/6/2014 9:47:56 AM"

See below and please advise.

Excel 2012
ADEF
1dateParty_NameCommentname date
22/6/2014last,firstLOGIN_FAILURElast,first - 41676.408287037
login report
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
F2=CONCATENATE(D2," - ",A2)

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney

Try it this way...

=CONCATENATE(D2," - ",TEXT(A2,"d/m/yyyy"))

Note: Could not tell if your date order was d/m/yyyy or m/d/yyyy so I guessed at the former (change it if wrong).
