I was asked to concatenate two excel files into another excel master file. The files should be combined by 2 columns. I can only match by one column and have no idea how to do multiple column matching. i have to match the values in two columns with the values in the master file.. Can anyone help?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.

The syntax for your formula shoudl be like this:
=index(result_colum,match(TRUE,index(first_colum&second_column=first_condition&second_condition,),0))
