condition formating with if

Hi Everyone,

can someome give me the if code for conditional formating that would say if c20 = "yees" then true

Select ~ $C$20

In conditional formatting ~ select

Format only cells that contain

Specific Text, Contains, yees

Then format as you wish, click ok, Click apply, click close

If cell C20 contains yees it will return true and format as you require otherwise it will be false.

if you just require a TRUE answer then select the cell you want true to appear then

=IF(A1="yes",TRUE,"")

this will leave cell blank if there is no "yes"
