I don't know if this is possible, but if it is, it would be great! I have a cell being conditionally formatted depending on some other cells formulas. It checks to see if any of three cells contain the letters, "R", "Y", or "G". If so, it changes it's color to red, green, or yello. Is there a way to make it so that it not only changes the color, but the text to read, r, g, or y? So if the other cells value is "Y", then it changes its color to yellow, and the text in the cell to be"Y"? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nate

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest

You can only change formatting with conditional formatting.

You could probably use IF functions to return text according to the contents of other cells.

What are your criteria?
