Conditional addition

Hi

I would like to add a specific amount to the sum of two columns if the sum returns a value greater than 0.

e.g Column A1=variable amount Column B1=A1*100 Column C1=B1+500 IF B1>0

I'm using Office 2003

Try;

=IF(B1>0,B1+500,B1)

or alternatively

=B1+(500*(B1>0))
