I have used the following formual in "A1" to count a range of cells that contain a "c/c"
=COUNTIF(OFFSET(H7,2,-4,11,1),"c/c")
Does anyone know how to shorten the formula if I wish to do this for every 5th column ie
=COUNTIF(OFFSET(H7,2,-4,11,1),"c/c") + COUNTIF(OFFSET(M7,2,-4,11,1),"c/c") + COUNTIF(OFFSET(R7,2,-4,11,1),"c/c") + COUNTIF(OFFSET(W7,2,-4,11,1),"c/c") + COUNTIF(OFFSET(AB7,2,-4,11,1),"c/c") + COUNTIF(OFFSET(AG,2,-4,11,1),"c/c")
An added twist is the offset cell ie H7, M7, R7 etc... must contain a "B" inorder to count.
