Hi Again,

This will be my first time to use Excel 2010 conditional formatting: I wish to do the following
If the date in column AF is =< today column A fill color red, text in the cell "Contract Expired"
Date in column AF is expiring within the next months column A fill color orange, text in the cell "Send Mail"
Date in column AF is more than 4 months from today's date, column A fill color green, text in cell " Contract Valid"

Thanks for assisting!

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Using cell A2, input this formula
'=IF(AF2 < TODAY(),"Contract Expired", IF(AF2 < TODAY()+30,"Send Mail", IF(AF2 > TODAY()+120,"Contract Valid","")))<today(),"contract Mail?,IF(AF2="" Expired?,IF(AF2<TODAY()+30,?Send=""><today(),"contract Mail?,IF(AF2="" Expired?,IF(AF2<TODAY()+30,?Send="">
This will set text into the cell.

Then use condiftional formatting based on the formula result

=A2="Contract Valid" (set fill of Green)
=A2="Send Mail" (set fill of Yellow)
=A2="Contract Expired" (set fill of Red)

Copy A2 down the column</today(),"contract></today(),"contract>
