Conditional Format Reference Multiple Cells

In the example below I am trying to use conditional formatting to highlight any of the names that have spent no money on an item (so in this case Jane and Sara would be highlighted). Could you please help with the correct formula to use here? Thank you!

	Hat	Gloves
John	$10	$5
Jane	$5	$0
Steve	$10	$5
Sara	$0	$10

=COUNTIF($B2:$C2,"$0")>0

applied to the range $A$2:$A$5.

You can use this formula in conditional formula to get the results,

Select the range in column A, as applied to range $A$3:$A$6
and insert the this formula in Rule description

=OR($B3=0,$C3=0)
