Conditional Format: Row

I have a spreadsheet with about 10 rows of 20 cells. I would like to put conditional formating on each row to this affect:

If cell $b2=ProductX, then highlight the entire row blue.

Can someone help me do this? I saw someone do this without using VBA and just the stardard conditional formating menu a few weeks ago, but I cannot remember how he did it.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
I have not been able to get any of these formulas to work for me...but they seem to be on the right track of what i am looking for.

This is the formula that I am trying to make work:

=($C$12=" TOTAL BRAND X")

The value in cell c12 is a link to another cell. I tried pasting a value there to see if that was the problem and that did not work either. Any idea what the problem could be?

In cell A2, "Format/Conditional Format/Formula is: =$B2="ProductX". Then click the "Format" button, select the "Pattern" tab, select your color, then "O.K", "O.K".
Copy cell A2 and "Edit/Paste Special/Formats" to cells B2 thru T2 (your 20 cells accross). Then hightlight cells A2 thru T2 and "Edit/Paste Special/Formats" to cells A3 thru the end of your range (T??).

Highlight your column range i.e. A1:X1 or the whole row.

In conditional formatting enter

=COUNTIF($A$1,"=PRODUCTNAME")

I figured it out!!! Underconditional formating I was using "Cell Is" instead of "Formula Is". It works with "Formula Is".

Thanks for your help!
