HI

I have a value in cell A1 (say 5) and values in both cell B1 (say 11) and C1 (say 5). I need to highlight cell A1 each time there is not a match in either cell B1 or C1.

Thanks

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

you could use the following formula in conditional format formula bar.

=IF(COUNTIFS(B1:C1,A1)>0,TRUE,FALSE)

Kind regards

Just one more -

I have values in A1 and B1 and values in C1 and D1.

If the count of values in C1 & D1 (can be either 0, 1 or 2 as there are only two colums) does not equal the count of values in A1 & B1 (can be either 0, 1 or 2 as there are only two colums), then I need to conditional format (TRUE).

Thanks
