I'm looking to highlight A2 and A4 because the word "Strawberry" is in C2 and C4, (regardless of whether it's Capitalized or not), and put the total in cell B6.

Is that possible and how would I do it? Can I do it with conditional formatting or do I need to put a formula in B6 and Conditional format column A separately.

Is it possible to do it in one step with just conditional formatting?

Sorry, no. As the name indicates, "Conditional Formatting" just changes the formatting. If you want a value displayed on the sheet, you need a regular formula.
