I put the date 10/02/02 in a cell. I used conditional formatting and put in, if cell value is less than =today()-30, then format the cell with the date as bold and blue. It works. (Today's date - 30 = 10/04). But if I replace the original cell date with 10/15 or any other future date, it still formats the cell for bold and blue, even though it is not less than today()-30???

Please help. Thanks

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

Hi normpam:

Your formula for CF as you stated is right -- and should work correctly. You may want to check what you put in as the CF condition. You can use one of the following two:

... Cell Value Is -- Less Than -- =today()-30
or
... Formula Is =B2<=today()-30 ... where B2 houses the date
