i have a drop box linked to cell A1

in cell C1 i have a vlookup returning a name using A1 as a reference

in cell G5 i have a name that is a result of ..

='Rank Orders (RAW)'!AT5

when I check that the name in C1 and G5 are identical using =exact(c1,g5) it says "true", but when I apply a conditional format to G5 requesting it to highlight the cell in yellow if it is the same as C1 it does nothing

any clues ??

Are these rewards graded on question difficulty?......Is there a list somewhere? (perhaps a lookup table).......What do I need to do to get 5 cheesecakes and a life-time's supply of Jelly Babies???
