Conditional Formating a series of dates based on pairs of dates

I am trying to color alternating groups of days based upon a series of dates. For example:

Based up whether or not a pair of dates are an ODD pair or EVEN Pair, I want too be able to color a group of dates on the date line to the right. I have manually colored the grouping to show an example.

Here are my reference dates:
