Hi i would like to conditional format one cell according to its value with no other cells to compare it to.
For example:
A1 = 5
I would like to conditional format it so that 5 is green but 0 and 10 are red, and everything in between changes accordingly. So if i change the 5 to 6 or 4 it would turn slightly orange.
Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
Welcome to MrExcel Message Board.
Select all cells. Go to Conditional formatting, Select Color Scales, More Rules.
Change Format Style to 3-Color Styles. And Select Colors for lowest & mid & Highest Values.

I think maabadi has made a suggestion for a range of cells. If you just have a single cell the select it then

Conditional Formatting -> Color Scales -> More Rules .. -> then set it up like this
