Hi All,

Can anyone assist me.

I have two columns. The first column is Column 'A' which gives an option to either select 'YES' or 'NO' and the second column is Column 'B' the result column.

If I select 'YES' in Column 'A', Column 'B' should show a percentage value and if I select 'NO' in Column 'A', Column 'B' should show a number value. Note that Column 'B' results will be entered manually.

Thanks in advance.

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
Use conditional formatting for column b depending on the value of A with a formula: =A1="YES" then set the number to be formatted as Percent.
