Conditional formating

Hi all....

Just found this forum... Can see i have a lot to learn... :rolleyes:
Im 29years old, from denmark.. Have used Excel for 5 years or so.. Would say im above avr. in user level.. But now i have a problem i can not solve.. :(

So im trying here...

Heres is what i have:

A5 = there is some text.
I want to make a conditional format in this cell, where i want to see if B5=C5
then A5 text has to be BOLD

Thats what i want.. B5 and C5 is both date
A5 is just normal text...

Thx in advance.. :)

Welcome to the Board!

In A5-->Conditional Formatting-->Formula Is-->=B5=C5. Format as necessary.

That was so easy....

Here what i tried first. =if(b5=c5)
but that didnt work.. So thats why i failed...

First experience with formulas in conditional formating, but not the last. :biggrin:
