Hi all...I submitted this same problem yesterday, but I didn't explain myself very well, and the example I had was horrible. So here is my second attempt...
Book1
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQ
1
2JanFebMarAprMayJunJulAugSepOctNovDec
31
42EnterStartRow:3
53EnterEndRow7
64
75
86
97
108
119
1210
13
Sheet1

This is what the sheet would look like after I typed 3 into cell P4, and 7 into cell P5. The formula I need would change what range of cells are highlighted based on what you would put in cell P4 and cell P5. It was suggested that I try conditional formatting, but I couldn't get it to work....any other suggestions??

Thanks,

Dave M.

Ok, select A:M, go to Conditional Formatting, and use this formula:

=(ROW(A1)>=$P$4)*(ROW(A1)<=$P$5)

If you only need to color the range A3:M12 then don't select the entire column but this range, and change the formula where it reads A1 for A3.
