Hi
I have a table (table1) that deals with figures for various depts. And a another table(table2) with the same depts but didn't figures in it.
I have a conditional formatting in table one basically anything between -2 and 2 is green and anything outside this is red.

I want table 2 to match thr same colours as table 1.

How do I do this please??

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.

In other words, you want table2 to mirror the formatting of table1?

If so, then just apply the same formatting to table2 but refer back to table1 for the conditions.

It won't work because basically table 1 is a percentage without the % and table 2 is actual figure.

Eg Dept. Office 1.56
Dept. Office actual +46

So 1.56 would be green but 46 won't be.

Sorry, I don't understand.

Sorry didn't explain myself.
Basically
1st table Dept : office % 1.45
2nd table Dept : office actual 46

Cond format = between -2 and 2% Green
> 2 red and <-2 red
If I use same cond format then office % would be green but office actual would be red.
I want official actual to be same color as %

Hope that's clearer

Format cells normally in both tables to be RED fill.
Conditional format with A2 the top cell in range:
Formula is: =AND($A2>-.02,$A2<.02)
Select GREEN for the Conditional Format.
Apply to all cells in both columns.
Works for me.
Larry.
