Condition 1: if the cell (c4) is not blank, then I want cell (h4) to format a gray shade fill. Condition 2: Then if cell (H4) equals cell (c4), then I want the cell to unshade and be a red font color.
Condition 3: But if the cell (h4) doesn't equal (C4), then I want the cell to stay gray filled, but have the red font.
I've tried several times, but it only will read the first condition. I'm using Excel 2003 at work and am setting up a logsheet for items being checked out for use by employees. As they check an item out (C4), then cell (H4) will gray fill until item is checked back after use. At that time, I want Excel to do condition 2 if the same item is checked back in or do condition 3 if the item doesn't match.
Thanks for any help,
Scott
