In the example below, I need to conditionally format (in red text) the name that has the highest spend. So in the example Jane Doe would be conditionally formatted to red text. Could you please provide help on the formula to use for this? Thank you!
John Smith$20
Jane Doe$25
Don Johnson$10

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Select cells A1 to A3. Click on Conditional Formatting | New Rule | Use a formula... Paste or type exactly the following into the Format Values where... box =MAX($B$1:$B$3)=$B1 Choose a format that you desire, like red font. Cell A2 (Jane Doe) will be red because the expenditure in B2 matches the highest expenditure in Column B's range.

You can learn all about CondFrmt by watching the ExcelIsFun channel's videos on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRfe4bHsjhI&t=1s
