Hi,

I'm trying to conditional format cells based on the date they fall in but by quarter. For example, if I have an initiative that starts on 5/1/21 and stretches to 20/2/21 I want the Q1 cell to be conditional formatted and filled in.

I also might have an instance where the start date would be 20/2/21 and stretch over several quarters, say to 1/7/21, or in some cases even across into 2022. Hopefully, the table below demonstrates what I need

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
